About the Founder

Austin Carder

Austin is a current student at Parker University, soon to be receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Austin graduated from Austin Peay State University with a degree in business management and pre-professional health. Austin served as a captain on his Division 1 baseball team for multiple years before moving to Dallas for Chiropractic school. His passion for service and health is what drove him to start a business, as he sees a large need for corrective care in a busy community. He understands the busy lifestyle people have and desires to make health as convenient as possible.

About our Doctors

Dr. Otis Perkins

Dr. Otis Perkins graduated from Parker University in 2018 with multiple degrees in anatomy, Health and Wellness, as well as his Doctorate In Chiropractic. Dr. Perkins then moved to Oregon to work with The Joint Chiropractic while providing corrective care for multiple of the University of Oregon’s athletic teams. He then moved back to Dallas to be close to family and began to fill in for numerous Chiropractors in the area before starting his own business, which he has had for 3 years now. Dr. Perkins is an extremely skilled adjuster and master of the soft tissue therapies offered in his practice.

Dr. Patrick McCabe

Dr. Patrick McCabe, DC, founder of Alpha Life Chiropractic in Irving, Texas, is dedicated to providing top-tier chiropractic care and functional medicine to his patients. With a background in kinesiology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University, he combines expertise in functional medicine and functional neurology to address a range of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. McCabe emphasizes personalized care, forming deep connections with his patients to guide them towards optimal health and well-being. Through his holistic approach, he educates on the importance of spinal health and quality movement, while offering specialized services in functional nutrition and laboratory evaluations. As a program director at Parker University, Dr. McCabe continues to mentor students and advance his field, welcoming patients from all backgrounds seeking tailored, holistic wellness solutions.


Dr. Jacob Gries

Dr. Jacob Gries DC, recent addition to Alpha Life Chiropractic in Irving, Texas, has dedicated his life to somatic human expression and wellness promotion. Drawing from a background in yoga, martial arts, and gymnastics, Dr. Gries creates space for his patients to craft movement in their bodies with confidence. He dedicates the bulk of his approach as a guide by the side and a companion throughout the many layers of the wellness journey. As a graduate from Parker University, Dr. Gries earned a BS in Anatomy and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. His unique approach to chiropractic care allows him to weave through various paradigms and techniques to customize each patient’s experience. Beyond the adjustment, he strives to educate his patients through the art of somatics, myofascial work, and wellness coaching.
